The Porta World Music Festival is a contemporary traditional music festival which brings together various cultures, experience and eras. Kuolm randõ (Three shores) is a fresh and unique contemporary and world music project with reference to the Livonian culture and language. The Livonian language (listed in UNESCO's Atlas of the World's Languages in Danger) has had a great impact on the formation of our country – Latvia. The music itself has many levels with different sound nuances and moods, discovering new musical horizons and at the same following the traditional canons.
