The moment is here - drift will also officially close for the 2024 season. On 6 October, the Northern European Zone Drift Championship Grand Final 2024 will take place at the Bikernieki Sports Complex, including the finals of the Livonian Drift Championship, the finals of the Latvian Drift Championship, the finals of the Latvian Drift Cup, the finals of the Lithuanian Semi Pro Championship and of course the finals of the NEZ Drift Championship.
The event will be special not only because it is the end of the season, but also because drifting will take place on two tracks at the same time, and drifting will be possible to watch at the same time, as the configurations are designed in such a way that both are integrated into the large Biķernieki track. The Semi Pro and Pro classes will run on the BIKERNIEKI big track, while the Street class will run at the Speedway Stadium, or, in the usual season-opening concept, this time at the end of the season.
All the classes, where the best will be determined, are also in a fierce battle for the overall season title. There are no clear leaders in any of the classes. The titles that will be decided in the final race of the season are Northern European Champion, Livonian Champion, Latvian PRO and Semi Pro Champion, Street Class Winner, Lithuanian Semi Pro Champion, Championship Team, Best Street Team, Champions Cup, Junior Cup, Debut of the Year, Master 40+ and Ladies Cup.
Due to the number of participants, the competition will take place over two full days. Saturday will be an opportunity to watch all classes in both practice and qualifying races, and for the Lithuanian Semi Pro Championship the Tandems. On Sunday, all classes will have their tandem practice and then the main tandem battles on two tracks at the same time.
When you buy a ticket for the event, it automatically includes Saturday's attendance, which is a bonus for every ticket. The biggest drift fans can attend both days for the same price of one ticket.
