
Celebrating the 35th anniversary of its founding and the brightest and most hopeful celebration of the Christian world - Easter - the Riga Dome Cathedral will be filled with a magnificent concert by the Riga Orthodox Chamber Choir ‘Blagovest’.
The concert programme includes specially selected works by outstanding composers - Maxim Berezovsky's and Artemy Vedel's 18th century Orthodox sacred music concertos, Georgy Sviridov's 20th century sacred works, and Arvo Pärt's emotionally moving composition for choir and symphony orchestra ‘Adam's Lament’. The spiritual concerto of Dmitry Boratnyansky will be performed by the choir Blagovest together with the orchestra Daugavpils Sinfonietta, the chamber choir Accolada and the mixed choir Muklājs.
