Celebrating the 160th anniversary of the remarkable Latvian poet Aspazija, the State Choir "Latvija" lead by conductor Māris Sirmais will perform choral works by Latvian composers, all set to Aspazija’s poetry, on the eve of her birthday. The evening will be interwoven with readings by actress Vita Vārpiņa.
