Pēteris Sidars' creative work is like an infinite web, where he creates sculptural installations and paintings using a variety of materials.
In his works the artist uses peat pots, and he has also created variations of paintings using fractals of raven excrements, which have become an integral part of his work. The artist's creative method is linked to his daring to combine seemingly incompatible elements and his ability to create works of art from unusual, even prosaic materials. He finds colours, shapes and structures that allow him to reach new visual horizons of expression. Fractalism, found in nature, has become an indispensable source of inspiration for the artist.
