The Riga Chamber Choir "Ave Sol" Laboratory is a collaboration of future conductors, future composers and professional singers, jointly searching for and discovering new possibilities of the choral sound. The result of this collaboration will be presented in this concert.
During the event, the professional chamber choir "Ave Sol" will be conducted by young talents - students of Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music (JVLMA): Jānis Almanis-Palmbahs, Jēkabs Bernāts, Matīss Pēteris Circenis, Simon Graeber, Alma Kalniņa, Anastasija Kildiša, Mariss Daniels Ķirsis and Kamila Siliņa.
Four of the conductors have chosen lesser-known pieces of contemporary Latvian choral music, while the other four have created new works, which will have their world premieres during this concert.
