For the fourth time, the "Riga Entrepreneur of the Year" award ceremony will take place on November 25, 2024. It will honour the city's best and most successful entrepreneurs. Riga City Council will recognize laureates in six categories.
The primary criterion for selecting a laureate in each category is outstanding achievements in their respective field and contributions to their industry and Riga.
This year, the nominees for Riga's priority business sectors are as follows:
- Riga Startup Entrepreneur of the Year: Jeff App, Supliful, Sorsera
- Riga Entrepreneur of the Year in the International Business Center Sector: GoCardless, Atea Global Services, DNB Bank ASA Latvia Branch, Circle K Business Centre
- Riga Entrepreneur of the Year in the ICT Sector: Delska, ZZ Dats, TestDevLab
- Riga Entrepreneur of the Year in the Real Estate Sector: DEPO (SIA "Kārļa Būmaņi"), VERDE (Capitalica), NOVIRA PLAZA (SIA Marijas 2)
- Riga Entrepreneur of the Year in the High Value-Added Manufacturing Sector: Lexel Fabrika, GroGlass, Baltic Scientific Instruments
- Riga Newcomer Entrepreneur of the Year: PrintyMed (Life Sciences), elProt (Manufacturing), Nutrameg (Startups), INVEGO (Real Estate)

This year, entrepreneurs will again receive a unique and symbolic award—a cast glass statue featuring a golden rooster, created collaboratively by Overpriced Design, Sporrong, and artist Baiba Glass.
