May 4: Restoration of Independence of the Republic of Latvia
June 14: Commemoration Day of Victims of Communist Terror
July 4: Commemoration Day of Genocide against the Jews
August 21: Anniversary of the Constitutional Law on the Statehood of the Republic of Latvia (1991)
November 11: Latvian Freedom Fighters' Remembrance Day - Lāčplēsis Day
November 18: Proclamation of the Republic of Latvia
November 30: Honouring the memory of the Jews murdered at Rumbula in 1941
While museum admission is free on these days, you can book a guided tour in Latvian, English or Russian for an additional fee.
