In order to promote the development of smart technologies and incubators in the city, Riga Investment and Tourism Agency (RITA) announces the application for the Accelerator and Incubator Support Program.The aim of the program is to promote the development of a start-up ecosystem in the city through co-funding, to encourage the development of new smart technological solutions in Riga that could be used in the urban environment in the future. It is also important to support the relocation of start-ups from other countries or regions to Riga. The maximum co-financing per activity is up to EUR 40,000 and the total budget of the program in 2024 is EUR 124,000. Applications can be submitted until March 27.
The program is open to a wide range of private or public organisations whose day-to-day work involves organizing and promoting activities for start-ups. During the evaluation process, special emphasis is placed on the fact that the activities contribute not only to entrepreneurship, but also to the development of smart technological solutions in Riga.
On March 19 at 15:00, RITA will host an informative seminar on participation in the competition at Torņa iela 4B in Riga, during which RITA staff will inform interested parties how to fill in the applications, common mistakes and the most important information to include in the applications.
