The Latvian Hockey Federation (LHF) has received confirmation from the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF), which shows all national teams that will take part in the final Olympic qualification tournament in Riga.
The Olympic Qualification Tournament will take place at Arena Riga from 29 August to 1 September. In addition to Latvia, the host country, France, Slovenia and Ukraine will also take part in the qualification tournament. The groupings have been decided after Ukraine won the third round of the Olympic qualification tournament in Sosnowiec, Poland. The strongest team in the sub-group in the final round will win the tickets to the 2026 Winter Olympic Games in Milan and Cortina d'Ampezzo, Italy.
Ticket sales for the Olympic hockey qualification tournament will officially start at 12:00 on Monday, 10 June.
