Riga Announces Applications for Acceleration and Incubation Support Program!

The Riga City Municipality is launching the 2025 application process for the support program "Riga Accelerator and Incubator Support Program." This initiative is designed to foster the growth of Riga’s startup ecosystem by providing co-financing for the implementation of business incubation and acceleration programs.

The goal of the competition is to promote the development of startups and technology-intensive entrepreneurship in Riga. Applications will be accepted until the end of the day on March 16, 2025, and must be submitted electronically.

An informational seminar on the competition rules and application process will take place on March 4 at 11:30 AM (MS Teams platform), providing interested parties with detailed insights and the opportunity to ask questions. Fredis Bikovs, Director of the Riga Investment and Tourism Agency, emphasizes the importance of the program:

"The Riga Startup Accelerator and Incubator Support Program is crucial in developing our city's startup ecosystem. It fosters an innovative and entrepreneurial environment, helping new businesses grow and flourish in Riga. Through this initiative, we are creating conditions that will encourage the emergence of more startups in the city, enriching Riga with innovative ideas and generating new jobs."

The total available budget for the competition in 2025 is €170,000, with each applicant eligible to receive co-financing of up to €40,000. The results of the competition will be announced by May 31, 2025, and the winners will be published on here.
