On April 27, the Riga City Council approved the regulations of the Riga Investors Advisory Council. Investors, entrepreneurs, and their representatives from Riga are invited to join the council.

Riga investors, entrepreneurs and their representatives are invited to apply for participation in the Riga Investor Advisory Council chaired by the Chairman of the Riga City Council Mārtiņš Staķis. It was established with the primary goal of attracting new investments to Riga and improving the business environment in the municipality, as well as removing information gaps and ensuring a regular exchange
The Council's major role will be to analyze strategic issues linked to attracting investment to Riga and to make recommendations for improving the municipality's investment climate.
The Council will be chaired by the Chairman of the Riga City Council Mārtiņš Staķis and will include no more than 10 members of the Council - individuals who have demonstrated their ability to represent the interests of existing and potential investors in Riga.
Candidates for the Council should email their CVs and motivation letters to invest@riga.lv.
The application date is June 5, 2022.
